Cost of Open Return Train Fare (Waterford/Kilkenny-Dublin)

Just need to know the cost of 2 Adult tickets one between Waterford-Dublin and the other from Kilkenny tomorrow. We will be going back on Thursday and I'm sure its pointless booking the return trips online.

Would of booked online but afternoon trains are all sold out, because of the reduction of seats online from 288 each service to 144. IE better release more or add extra service as the 12.40 used always almost sell out all 288 seats when it was 6 coaches online. It will be a weekly thing if they don't. Last week it was the 09.05 and 12.40 services sold out.

IE will be turning away last minute business unless passengers are very flexible.

Waterford-Dublin Heuston Adult Open return costs €39.70

Kilkenny-Dublin Heuston Adult Open return costs €33.60

Online fares would be €31.98+€3 for each ticket

For Thursday, Dublin-Kilkenny and Dublin-Waterford are currently €15.99 + fees each. They will likely go up to €21.99 webfare on the day or €24.80 / €30- at the ticket office.

Thanks for the replays, happy to say some capacity is to be restored form Sunday, lets hope they actually follow through as it has taken weeks for it.
