    Another one, seriously? :p
Get one on the road first. Haha

Nah that's the one with the knackered box.
Mind you though of I could pick another one up for mickey money, I would. Used gtv parts cost a fortune!:(

Off to the giants causeway on Tuesday to pick up a gearbox:)
Once that's done it should hopefully be running fine. It was running fine prior to the box going so fingers crossed.
Dgt wants to pop the box open though, just to see how bad it is.

If you see a UK 09 reg 750Li in Dublin this week, that will likely be me and you'll think it's ugly too!!

Are you ever going to take it in or are you and the other chap based out of the UK?

I'm not too sure really as it was dark and I passed you a bit quick. Young-ish chap driving?

I was in a silver Golf cabriolet, noticeably lowered :pac:

Scortho glad to help! We stopped for chips on the way back and in true fashion we parked lengthways across 5 spaces and on double lines :pac:

Still have to figure where to put it though! :p

In other news, I saw a hape of F10 535d's today in Newry. No misery cheapo 4 banger diesel ones to be seen

It's a pity chp doesn't have a towing licence. His truck and that trailer on the back would be comical. :)

    No stealing the hubs now.

Lads is anyone familiar with the rathangan to prosperous Road?
Have a huge lead to bring from South Laois to Straffan on Monday and trying to plan a route of least resistance.

Is there any height or weight restrictions on that road or anywhere contrary :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,605 ✭✭✭toastedpickles

"Boy racers for you think they own the place terrible carry on"

Its a shame people automatically think boyracer when they see a Glanza.

What do you mean take it in? I live in London (have done since Feb 96 - the day before the bomb in Docklands as I describe it to Londoners) and sped a week or so per month in Dublin.

I can't remember if there is a weight restriction on Kelly's Bridge outside Allenwood. It's an old humpback bridge that turns 90 degrees to get over the canal.

There is a height restriction on the Edenderry road, think it's 2.8m, though you can by via clonbolluge and then out back onto the road to Carbury - Derrinturn - Allenwood and then Prosperous.

Bit shattered this evening so fecked off to bed earlier, at nothing tonight anyway because I'm dog/housesitting for my mother (anybody here install house alarms and looking for a nixxer in Dublin?) Got up there and opened the fridge to be greeted by the 5 Oktoberfest Erdinger I bought earlier.... It's not too late to get pissed is it? 5 of these bad boys will knock me sideways lol

Just noticed a neighbour of my Mother has an Alfa 164, rare aul bus. It's in bits though

That car was a serious car.
Bought by an italian car nut. Think he has a mix of 6 or so lancias and alfas.
