I'm looking for a bluetooth car kit that will make/take calls through my car's stereo and also where I can play music through. Ideally it'd contain controls (back/forward etc) for the iPhone. I like the look of the Parrot MKI9200 but not the price. Something similar but cheaper would be great. Any advice?

I fitted a Motorola Tk30 which was recommended by ffocused here..:)

Tbh I found it...
1)Easy to install.
2)Perfect for making/receiving calls.
3)It can stream music via Bluetooth from my phone which play it tru my cars speakers.
4)It can play Mp3's via usb stick/Ipod tru cars speakers.

The only let down is that the Bluetooth/usb/ipod music quality isn't as good as my original radio/cd player.
Afaik the Motorola unit uses its own builtin amp to power the cars speakers so maybe this is way sound quality suffers alittle.

I purchased mine from amazon and delivered tru parcel motel which worked out around €80 delivered to the door....:cool:

As ffocused said in his post you will need an ISO connector which allows the Motorola unit to plugin via your radio/cd player....Iso connectors may vary in price depending on your make/model.

They all use there own amps I think. The parrot amp is weaker than the Motorola one and the one in my io talk 2 as far as I know. I've no complaints about music or calls on my io anyway it's grand and clear.
