Work breaks

    Hi, I know that if you work more than 4.5 hours youre entitled for a 15 minute break but can you take that break if you work exactly 4.5 hours? Also is it a 1 hour break for 6 hours? Thanks :)

    Retail breaks are different but it's a half hour break after 6 which may include the 15 minute break.

    As for breaks bang on 4.5 technically no you have to work 4 hours and 31 minutes.

    True that you are entitled to a 15 minute break after working 4 1/2 hour if you are over 18. Believe the entitlement might be a bit different for under 18.
