Something Stinks.

I'll try this here, I'm not sure where it belongs.

I have to move some stuff on Saturday so I bought a hard plastic container yesterday, a decent size, 90l I think.

Anyway, in the shops I didn't notice anything too wrong with it but when I got it home I realised it was stink. Just rotten. It's kind of a plasticy smell.

Anyone has a remedy or knows of something I can scrub into it to try and remove it? I have to stick it in a car on Saturday and I'm pained to do it since I think the smell might linger. Not to mention my room is smelling up a bit at the moment and at -6 outside I'm not so keen to open the window for long.

I threw it in the shower yesterday and scrubbed it down with soap and water but it made little to no difference.

    Thanks in advance.

Its just one of those things plastic will smell like plastic for a while, the smell will only diminish with time and use.Its like new car smell it eventually disapears. If you think that the tub is excessivly smelly then you should return it to the place you bought it and get a more suitable replacement like a timer box
