Hi there, im using betfairs cash out option or the first time today doing the champions league accum. I bet 5 euro ill get back 195 if it comes through but will cash out if I make anything really. Just wondering has anyone else used this and made money or whats your experience with it is it good and worth doing?

Your just making 2 bad bets instead of 1 using betfair cashout.

First bad bet is using the sportsbook at Betfair and getting sh*t odds
Second bad bet is cashing out for less than your bet is worth at sh*t odds
Must be nice to be a bookie

If it's an accum on CL matches that all ko at the same time, you won't get much on it.

Well yup you were right 5 of my teams were winning 3 drawing logged in gave me 25 euro profit I was like wft that's terrible odds so I said id wait another 2 mins man city scored and I went to cash out it suspended and then dropped my money to 4.50 because it went past 85mins what a joke like.

I always put something like that down to "life lessons". Betfair advertise this fantastic "cash out" option. Why do they advertise it so much if it is so good for the punter? It's just another money making ploy by the bookie.

You have a bet on, 1 of your teams look like conceding, you bottle it and head for the cash out, bookie gives you sh!t odds and save a load of money. Good business by the bookie, bad deal for the punter. Stick to PP or boyle or laddies imo.

PP are offering it too on certain markets, saw it last night on their website. I would advise staying away from cash out unless you have a very good understanding of the odds and maths involved in the bets. I never used 365 or betfair, never liked the look of either site tbh.

I've done away with online gambling, and thankfully too, as I think I could start seeing this cash-out option as a "good idea" when in truth, it's not.

I'll steer clear of numbers, because I don't know exactly what they're willing to offer.
But I imagine if I backed a treble, and the first two legs come in; I'd sooner have a little saver on something else against the third leg of my treble, rather than closing out the whole bet, enough to cover the stake while keeping my treble alive.
It's the type of tool you wish you could use when you're bet goes down, but really you should be thinking "This is the bet I wanted to place earlier, so I might as well let it ride"
