Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but if so please delete etc
    Thank you.

Like a lot of people over Christmas, I don't have a lot to spend on certain things, like going out during Christmas to shows, events, carol singing etc , after buying pressies, food and decorations, which has soaked the money up, so there's little left over to spend.

So if you're broke like me around Christmas, and need a little Christmas laughter, singalong, festive fun etc. and you know of any gigs, shows etc that are free in, list them below.

I will start here with some in Dublin.

    The Dublin Dockland Christmas Festival
    December 12th to 23rd
    Opening times:
    Monday - Friday: 12:00 - 22:00
    Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 - 22:00
    http://www.dublindocklandschristmasfestival.ie/

Carols by Candlelight followed by mince pies and mulled wine.
    On 18th December at 7pm to 9pm
St Catherines Church, Thomas Street, Dublin 8.

    Festive Evening Entertainment
Friday 6th and Saturday 7th December
    Shakespeare by Candlelight
Chapel Royal, Dublin Castle at 7pm
A celebration of Shakespeare’s most loved poetry, plays and
    music.
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance by
    emailing dublincastletickets@opw.ie

I will add more to this. Just thought it would be a good idea

    Thank you

The Christmas Carols by Candlelight sound devine! I love hearing carols sung in churches its very soothing for the soul, shame I don't go to church more often at Christmas :o

Hi my wife and I are looking for a carols service to take our 2 year old to, so obviously not something that is on too late in the evening. Does anyone know of one on in or around South Dublin. We are in D6. Thanks :)
