    It's currently in beta but works fine for me on campus. Haven't come across any ads yet either :P

    You can't torrent, but you can download files from the likes of Putlocker at speeds of 5mb/s...

    Appears they have blocked the web player now. In fact they have blocked entire spotify.com site!

    I've tried several different browsers same story wont even load the normal website...

    And I was even going to pay the €5 a month once my 10 hours ran out!

    If you're not into the whole "paying for stuff" thing, there are plenty of YouTube to mp3 converters out there. I use DVDVideoSoft when I'm downloading the audio of movie clips. I'm sure there's nefarious uses for that software, but I wouldn't know about or condone that...

    Downloading whole albums is a pain though

    mp3million.com is not illlegal, as far as I can gather. If one wanted better downloading of other items, there are pay-for German http download sites that have been found to be not-illegal in Germany but they require subscriptions and searching can be a little difficult on them.

    It was working for me up until about 4 weeks ago. Nothing now. Which is a pain. I've not tried it outside of wireless though so direct connection might be better.
