Can anyone tell me does this work in ireland for downloads etc as does in the uk - seen a few reviews saying it doesnt work too well in ireland Thanks in advance - great deal on amazon and hoping to buy

It should work fine here now you can download apps fine here. When the kindle was first out you couldn't but it's since changed now afaik.

op here ok now i want more advice - gonna forget the kindle so heres my new choice

Google Nexus 7-inch 16GB Wi-Fi Tablet or
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch - (White, Wi-Fi)
