Hen Ideas

    Hi All,

I'm bridesmaid for my best friend who's getting married abroad next year. We want to organise a suprise hen night for her (she knows she'll be having a hen but just won't know any details).

As she's getting married abroad, we want to keep costs down for everyone attending the hen and we were thinking of doing something that would involve one night away (in Ireland).

Any suggestions would be very welcomed

One of my friends organised a weekend away in Kenmare. She kept her eyes on Livingsocial.ie and Groupon.ie and in the end I think the 2 nights + breakfast cost us less than €30 each. There was a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and all that jazz.

Another friend had cocktail classes at the bar in the Westin Hotel - I think that was about €25.

We also went for 1 night. We booked a couple of cottages at Coolbawn Quay. They do a nice package for hen nights, though not as cheap as what Dortilolma mentioned.
We had and afternoon of chilling in the Spa, then dinner in the evening and a hanging out in the cottages where we made and drank cocktails and played hen party games... Then had a relaxed morning with breakfast and a walk and that was that. Great night though...

Thanks for the ideas, although the groupon idea would be great value I'm not so sure it'd be very practical for our group i.e getting people to purchase the vouchers etc.

I've been looking into a csi themed party, it looks like good fun and all in including accommodation, meal, breakfast etc is €110pp we might be able to get it for a bit less than that cause it's a pretty large group
