Is there any affordable tv providers besides Sky and UPC.
I use Entertainment, HD and Sports channels (Sky Sports 1-4, Setanta, BT Sport, ESPN) and im paying a pretty sizable bill to Sky every month.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you want those sports channels then you have to be with Sky or UPC. Drop the sports and you could go Freesat with the same dish for the UK channels and you'd have to put up an aerial to get the Irish Saorview channels (RTE/TV3 etc. are only available via the dish if you have a Sky subscription), all for no subscription.

With your preferences for premium sports channels, as coylemj says you are limited as regards options - your best bet would probably be to threaten to leave Sky & see if they offer you a discounted subscription.

There are much cheaper options for the same content all over the continent.

If you put up a dish your options increase dramatically.

You could start by looking at the long-running Cyfra+ thread in the satellite section.
