Sixmilebridge won the toss for the venue for Munster Club final, so it is on in Cusack Park on Sunday.

Doubtfull, both the Leinster Hurling and the Ulster Football finals are on Sunday, and both on paper at least, appear to be much more competitive affairs.

It's 7 points to 2 now, looks to be game over already

I know this shouldn't surprise me at this stage, but there is not a single thing on RTE about this match.

In seemingly more relevant Irish sports news, Bale scored for Real Madrid

    Sides level now

Is it over what's the score

Crokes nicked it in injury time.
    0-13 to 0-12

ah man it was f**king heart breaking stuff, great game though, the intresting thing today about crokes is they got most of there scores in a 10 or 12 period of the first half they didnt score until the 9th minuet and had 8 or 9 on the board by the 20th

if only is a word thats going to be used for a while down south clare way they hit the post a few times podge's goal chance on half time the biggest of them would realy have rattled things

    hard luck cratloe!!!

A fit team of hurlers nearly won the Munster Football Chship. Did these lads kick a ball this summer?

    Football = pants.

the 4th of november 2012 dr crokes 2-8 killmurry ibrickane 0-13!!!!!

    clare football amnesia strikes again!!!

And not a hurler in sight......all those hurlers would have just as quickly played football for the county if they had the same chance of winning the all ireland as hurling,

I Realy dissagree with the concipt of hurling for the east football for the west setup we have here though east clare proved sunday that they have some of the best footballers in the country wonder how many good hurlers are going to waste in west clare!!!

if they started out in the same way they start out playing football im sure you would find one or two lads in time, although they would probably be more in the bracket of pj " fingers" o connell as opposed to the tony kelly variety of hurler,......handy if the score board is going against you and you want to get the game called off !!!!

I for 1 would love to see hurling in kib.. Much more attracting skillful game to play and watch..not so sure there's many tony Kelly's out their wherever ure from... Even a west Clare team To get things started .

There is an effort being made with in hurling in west Clare you have Clonbony who have been fighting the good fight back there for a long time now and last season St Senans Kilkee entered a team and hopefully will keep up the good work they are doing,In fact both these clubs where to contest the Junior C league final back in june.It would be great if all the clubs in west Clare could make the same effort and the same could be said for the east Clare clubs with regards to football

Clonbuny r ya for real.they r a complete joke. Pure hatchet men. Wouldn't touch em with a barge pole. I'm talking about a proper hurling from say start in schools with under 8s and build interest from there.

No disrespect but that's why I believe Crokes will fall short again this year. I just think they will come up short in the latter stages of the competition.

I dont understand you are lamenting the absence of Hurling in west Clare, but at the same time you think one of the only Hurling clubs in the west are a joke.Clonboney is a small club and granted they are not blessed with a team of natural gifted hurlers, they are lucky sometimes to even have 15 players to field a team. Its attitudes like yours that keep clubs like Clonboney a ''joke'' as you call it.If teams like Clonboney got half the support they need then you would see a completely different Hurling landscape in Clare never mind west Clare, but no they are only met with derision and scorn.

hard to be getting excited about January hurling but the clare v limerick game fixed for sixmilebridge at 2 next sunday could be intresting , given the fact the squad is only back after their holidays last week i would imagine limerick might be slight favorites although a great chance to blood some of last years u21s that didnt get a look in over the season
