Served my time in the esb in the 80's. I met one of the classmates recently.

He was telling me that he was trying to get evidence he completed his apprenticeship and he was not having much luck.

The ESB could not help and I don't think he had any luck with FAS.

Anyone any ideas. I did not really work as an electrician afterwards so I never needed it myself.

Did he check with the college where he did his block release. They might have details about it. Had he any involvement in the national apprenticeship competition either. They should have records too.

He must have some paperwork somewhere?
Pay slips, revenue documentation, an old exam paper, books, letters from the ESB, TEEU card?

As frankmul said the college he attended would have some sort of record.

    Thanks,

All good ideas. He would have the Junior and Senior Trades as well.

    I will pass them on.
