Nissan Almera 01 not starting

Can anyone help me I have a 01 1.5 nissan almera which wont start for me. I have tried jump the battery but it is still not working, it doesnt seem to be the battery as the lights and radio are working fine. i was trying to turn over but not enough to start the engine, is there a problem with the starter or is it other…

It could be the starter at that age, but are you sure you used the jump leads correctly?
