Used to love watching the Streets of San Francisco on a Monday night when my Mum was at bingo and I should have been in bed.:pac:

Prisoner Cell Block H afterwards if my Mum won and went to the pub.

just think, if your mother hadn't played bingo, you'd never have developed the most freakishly broad frame of TV/music reference on AH. :pac:

The Muppet Show. When I got slightly older Knight Rider was my favourite until Optimus Prime and his friends transformed their way into my heart. I was obsessed with The Transformers for about four years. As well as watching the cartoon religiously I would buy the comic every week and anytime I got money for Christmas or my birthday I would spend it all on the toys.

Oh, tip for anybody interested in downloading your favourite shows as a kid: don't do it. It will ruin your memories for you. These shows were absolute horsecrap. Let the memories live on in your head only.

Far too many mention, look on All Things Retro for a large list of 100 cartoons to see before you die. :)

Something a little different, Press Gang!

I used to love Chocky also.

It wasn't the usual dross they feed kids these days (or even fed them back then for that matter). It was a really well written supernatural TV show about an alien that had come to Earth, interfered with events and regretted it. Way better than any Dr.Who bollox.

The theme tune brings me right back to 4pm on a school day, dreading doing my homework.
