    Hello all,

I was over at my father-in-laws last night and he asked me to look at his free-sat box. He recons he "pressed something" but now he has the same channels showing multiple times - e.g. he has about 5 instances of channel 4. It is also showing the scrambled channels, which he never had before (they are still scrambled, he isnt that lucky :)).

I did a retune and had a flick through the menus but no joy.

Any suggestions? It's a silvercrest box.

    Thanks all

There are a number of version of Channel 4, BBC,ITV etc. see here http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E.php

The Silvercrest is a Free to Air satellite receiver, a Freesat receiver is a more user friendly Sky-like receiver which requires very little user input once setup. A free to air receiver stores all the channels it finds and in no particular order such as the multiple versions of Channel 4, the scrambled channels etc.

Is there an option in the menu to search for FTA TV channels only, this option ignores the scrambled channels?

Delete the duplicate channels and the other channel you don't require and arrange the rest of the channels in the order you want tham.
