Michu to Oscar done. I hadn't planned on making a transfer this week but Michu forced my hand, and had to move tonight before the price drop put Oscar out of reach.

Means I don't have to worry about him for this week. Barkley finally getting the chop instead. I want to bring in Townsend but is it worth it with Spurs playing Man City and Man Utd in the next 3 games??

The way Spurs played yesterday it's hard to see them scoring ever again but Townsend was as likely as anyone to be involved if and when they do, he's still good value and they really will have to click sometime soon.

Just did Suarez in for Sturridge and Reid in for Zabaletta to fund it. Now to decide if I play Dawson home to Newcastle or Reid away to Norwich.

Yeah but still only took a points hit on 5 occasions. Clicked 'confirm transfers' 5 times when on a negative points balance. But I can see how you'd read it either way.

However, he mentioned that it was 5 times and for a total of 28 points. So I don't know how that can be confusing? It's clear as day that 28 points means 7 transfers and 5 times taking a hit means on a total of 5 occasions?

What's the problem here? No matter what way you say it he gave the complete answer to the question. Had he simply said 7 hits then you may assume that meant in 7 different GW's and you'd have somebody asking well how many transfers total in those 7 hits? Etc.

Well I put my money where my mouth was and brought Jonny Howson in for Michu. That leaves me with 4.0 in the bank and totally happy with just Howson of my midfielders. I'll be sorting out Ozil, Ravel, AJ and Townsend over the next month in time for xmas.

Can anyone recommend a forward for 7.3m?

I think Agbonlahor at 6.8 is great value at that price, Benteke will get the lions share of goals but Gabby should chip in with a few and you'd hope he'll be there assisting Benteke.

If I was you I'd be looking to save to money in defence, or in particular the keepers. McGregor at Hull is injured to at least Dec, Harper at 4.0 should be nailed down for starts until at least then.

You will still have 2 playing keepers and you'll have enough cash for Lukaku then.
Plus you'll probably make a nice profit on Harper as I'd say he's going to be brought in be a load of players.

Best team I've seen.

Finally bit the bullet and got ramsey in. Needed to fund giroud to suarez so I downgraded michu who has been a waste of money. Another 4 point hit but I'm up to 90k and finally happy (ish) with my team:

0.7m in the bank. Very happy with the strikeforce but obviously had to sacrifice a bit elsewhere. Wanted to squeeze hazard in but didn't have the funds. May finally get a chance to get rid of chester next week (unless there's positive news on his injury).
