Can't send Email on Sky Broadband

So I moved to Sky from Eircom recently.

I have a mac book and use the default Apple email program for my emails.

My email address is still @eircom.net.

I receive emails fine.

I can't send emails.

I realise that something needs to be done with the SMTP server information, but what?

I can't find any help on sky website. The dont mention POP mail from what I can see and just go on about sky/yahoo emails

any help would be greatly appreciated


Edit: I have left every setting as they are, and tried smtp.tools.sky.com as the outgoing server but that still does not work
