    6/1 to win today.

Sizing Coal goes in the first at D.R. tomorrow. beat Capiila when finishing 2nd to Azorian since gone on and won his p2p. Could be worth each way punt.

I personally think imperial commander is finished and with tidal bay is obviously top class on his day but too much of the time you never know what you are going to get with this horse. I think katenko could be progressive in what is not really the best renewal.

Don't get this? It's not 2010 anymore. Tidal Bay has not run a bad race in years. He used to be a monkey but even time form removed the squiggle.

But in saying that only 1 horse older than 8 has won it in the last 15 years and only one 10 year old in the last 30 years. 12 year olds have never won a hennessy

Guess who the 9 year old was

Aha of course denman,i thought he won it at 8 and 10. Oh well, what is it the youngsters say when they get something horrifically wrong..."me bad" or "my bad" ...something like that :) anyway to try crawl myself out of this,i think teeton mill was the last 9 yr old to win it before denman :)

Your Venetia Williams obsession is probably the reason you guessed that.

Yeah quality alright, but you have to be in the right frame of mind to listen to them ie not first thing in the morning or sober !

    But they're class.
A lot of the 'music' from the first album was taken from the nintendo gameboy! Genuis.

I'm sipping ale here listening to spotify

Really like the album before the last one.

Was drunk enough at Forbidden Fruit and I know what you mean, added to the "experience". Quality gig that was

I know Blur are a big band etc but I've always thought them to be hugely under rated

It still hurts me that my class mates in secondary school all those years go slagged me for liking them ahead of Oasis

Just watched Pizzaro winning the bumper on YouTube. How he wasn't thrown out will go down as one of life's great mysteries

I'd no bet on that bumper do couldn't care less but f*ck me how that result went unaltered is a mystery.

Onto the 2003 festival now! My first year there.

God bless the jumps (& Cheltenham memories on YouTube :pac:)

Cheltenham memories on Youtube, an evening well spent

Strangely Best Mate winning his 2nd Gold Cup in 2003 when I was a final year college student is still the biggest bet I've ever had. I said going over if I was up going into the Gold Cup I'd have half my bank on him. I didn't expect at the time to have a wallet that wouldn't close over there was so much cash in it :D

One of my favourite races ever, one of my favourite horses ever won it and also for the antics of another favourite of mine in 2nd. Brave Inca got an awful ride in 3rd. I'd a 50/1 docket on Accordion Etoile but in fairness he was well beaten.
