Shure you would probably get a couple of ton for the spoiler from some yungfla who still has most of his confirmation money...

    2002 Saab 9-5 diesel estate, €675
NCT until 6/14. Fuel pump problem. Seems cheap for a 02 plate diesel with long NCT, but I'm not too sure what diesel Saab's are like.

Again, going out on a limb posting this but,

    Full-24312380.jpeg
    1999 Nissan Micra, €300

    To quote the ad:
needs few things for nct but good car

Depending on what 'a few things' are, this could be a good buy if you're handy with spanners. I've seen older Micra's with no NCT go for more.

What is the little thingy behind the gear lever?

I don't know if it's ok to post your own stuff here? If it's not, please remove my post.

The old man has a 00 Rover 45 he's looking to offload.
NCT is out - Don't think it'll need anything other then two new tyres on the front.
Taxed until end of next month. Had new brake pads put in only a few 100 miles ago.
    Looking for €500.
    http://www.adverts.ie/car/rover/45/00-rover-45-for-sale/4024094

Also has a 02 Renault Laguna.
Needs a new gearbox. He priced it at 350 for a reconditioned one, or 450 for a new one back before he parked it up.
Thought the battery was dead, but took it out and just needed to be charged and it's fine now. Good tyres.
Lovely car, just doesn't have time or money to fix it himself.
Up for €450 - He'll take less though.

From experience, the Laguna should sell. As for the Rover, they aren't a very desirable car so it will most likely hang around for a while until you get someone who wants it.

Ad descriptions are very good, but both could probably benefit from better photos, from all angles of the car, and one or two inside too.

I think it is OK to say that mungy1 (as they are not a Boards user) is a total dick who in the old days (For Sale forum on Boards and the old Adverts) would not have lasted pissing time before getting banned.

Not sure about this bit in the ad:
Priced gearbox @ 350 for reconditioned one, and 450 new.
    €450 for a new gearbox?

I'd just take that out completely tbh. Would put potential punters off more than anything.

Yeah - It's a little annoying when people post offers like that. See it all the time on Adverts. I can understand trying to cut someone's price down, but he's not even making an effort.
He also posted on a Mondeo that was up for €1200, offering €200

That's what he told me anyway. - Although, now that you say it, that doesn't seem right...Would €550 sound right? I'll have to ask him about that tomorrow. I know the reconditioned one is right though. I priced that for him a few months back.

I'll leave the reconditioned one in, and remove the new gearbox price. At least until I find out if it's correct

Off the top of my head, I would have thought a brand new gearbox would cost well over a grand. I could be wrong though.

I'm full sure it was under a grand, but I'll ask him tomorrow and see what price he was quoted for a new one.
If it's any interest to anyone, I found the reconditioned one on donedeal from a company in Co. Cork - That was a good 6 odd months ago though.

    Ford Sierra P100, 1 owner, tax 1/14, €1000

    As the ad says:
Ford Sierra P100, 1 owner, 118k miles, tax 1/14, very clean bodywork and interior, drives great, brakes need attention, vehicle will need to be taken on a low loader or similar, call or text anytime

Depending on what attention it needs, it'd be an absolute bargain. These don't come up that often, especially with 1 owner, colour and condition etc.

when it was there it looked suspicious imo. first off it had a pic of an opel interior and the phone number was an 084 number. Is there a network that uses the 084 prefix?

LOL! This has just appeared on my screen.

Also, on an unrelated note, I got an insurance quote for my Subaru. €300 more than what I pay on the Golf.

I have devised a plan though. I'm going to advertise both the Golf and Forester, and whichever does not sell first, will become my daily driver.

A bit gutted tbh, but I am not getting a lot of interest in the Golf and I could not afford to pay for insurance on the Subaru without selling the Golf.

My other car for sale :(

€600 will buy it. I'm gutted, as much as I love the cabrio, I hope it sells before this.

Forgive the poor photos, I'll update them when I get home

Haha, the first bit of sense I've heard all day.

It stole my heart this morning when I had at 6 in the morning to myself from Cashel.

Honestly I do like it more than the Golf. And anyone who does know me knows that that is a lot coming from me.

Got my asking price of €700 for it but I gave €50 back for luck.

If the lads who bought it are reading, good luck with it :)
