    Hi,
    Did a rescan today and lost all the RTE/TV3/TnG etc channels. Still have all the usual kiddies from Astra 2 and Eurobird1.

    I have scanned this box when got it 2 years ago approx. with no issue.
    What I did was
    Auto Search with Astra 2 and Eurobird;
    Full Scan

    No Irish channels. I am obviously missing some very basic but important part of the process here. Any help really welcome as missus going mad.:confused:

    You need to carry out a terrestrial scan.

    Tony,
    When I tried this all I got was option to scan Brazil/Czech/Poland.....
    Is there another specific satellite I must choose to get Irish channels?
    Sorry to sound so stupid but as I said I did it when first got it and cant remember for the life of me how I got all the channels:o

    Do not chose any satellite at all to get Irish channels, saorview is a terrestrial service using your aerial, nothing whatsoever to do with satellite . If you select "Automatic terrestrial scan" even with Poland selected it should work.
