Hate giving the armband to someone in the 12.45 kick off, think I only did it once last year when RVP had a handy home fixture.

Also hate putting a team from early kick off in my mugs accum for the weekend (although have done so today)

Mugs accum always dies on an early kick off, learned that lesson before myself.

Aside from Ozil my other candidates don't stand out, Sturridge v WBA isn't the walkover people expect.

Cant remember having an early captain ever paying off for me.

Seems to be a bit of curse :)

Alot of teams will suffer if Arsenal fail to deliver today.

Spent last night in the A+E with the gf Thankfully all is perfectly fine so now onto the small matter of FPL.

I think I'm going to get a cup of tea and plan a bit of surgery. 8 point hit looking likely as I have about 6 players who are either injury doubts or rotation doubts.

Wouldnt it be better to let the guys in A/E do the surgery?

    (hope all's well)

Says noting about this in the team news section on FFScout

Wasn't in team news. Just regular posters. So probably nothing more than nonsense. Just scares me off a bit captain wise when you see a few comments like that.

According to the Mirror he won't make it but nothing concrete,i'd be wary myself.

Terry (H Man City) or Coleman (A Aston Villa)

If Vidic doesn't play they will both start.

I went for Coleman myself in the same situation

Any sign of a lineup yet? I'm stuck at work and don't have access to twitter etc.

Would like to know if Ramsey is starting.

Just did a late captain switharooney from Giroud to Suarez. I think the wheels are going to come off the Arsenal bandwagon today. 0-0.

Arteta and Flamini starting is awesome for Ramsey owners.

Brady is injured so Benteke will come in for him if he doesnt play. Ramsey as captain and my score will be largely dependent on how well southampton do with fonte and lovren at the back and lallana in midfield.

I'm surprised yet happy that Ramsey isn't rested. Wenger really going for it to keep the momentum up.

Did a late captain switch from Ozil to Suarez. This is the last GW in quarter 1 so need a bit of differential to secure a few bob. Needless to say I need Mesut to have a stinker today!

I thought today was a big statement of intent from Wenger, these games are eaily dismissed by managers but he see's today as a game to win and win pretty well, goal difference is in his thinking already.

I think he realises they will go through a sticky patch eventually. They lost Wednesday night and he'll probably rest a good few next Wednesday so today is a chance to make that statement of intent you mention.

Ozil, Ramsey, Giroud, the FF masses await a slaughter, bet Carzola bags a whole load of points to piss us all off

Ramsey could do without scoring, he's seriously going to do damage to the matrix if he keeps it up much longer. I don't even know what to believe anymore, is any of this even real?

flamini off gnabry on 7:05 mins

Flamini off means Ramsey will be deeper alongside Arteta . Should lessen his chances of scoring .

Just remembered I have szecnzey as well as Giroud and Ozil. It would be nice for him to leave my team after 7 weeks with one feckin clean sheet ;)
