first time all season i'm happy with my team and able to bank a transfer, been taking hits most weeks so getting to save a transfer is quite a luxury.

that said, if vidic doesn't play, wilson will come in away to united and he's not even guaranteed to start.

Ozil as captain, always wary of going with captain in the early game and there was 3 other stand out choices for me in rooney, giroud and suarez but ozil was my gut and decided to stick with it.

It was between Ozil and Suarez for me but I don't think Liverpool will have as easy a game against WBA as some expect.

I wouldn't be surprised to see WBA come away with a point at least. They were poor in early season games but they're a good side.

I thought about doubling up on my Saints lads in defence but Fulham scored 4 Monday night so will give Terry a chance. Mourinho's games against top teams tend to be more about nullifying the opposition first and going for three points second.

yeah it wouldn't surprise me if the city chelsea game is a 0-0, 1-0, with city's attackers you'd expect they'd score but as you said, jose will set out to stifle them first.
And terry is always a goal threat and if they do keep a cs is likely to pick up bp's too.

I hadn't realised WBA record against liverpool was so good recently, i'd still expect with the form of sturridge and suarez that liverpool will win but maybe only by 1 or 2-0 rather than a goal fest.

I'd take a one nil win for Liverpool with Sturridge assisting Suarez. I'm actually hoping Sturridge doesn't play particularly well to justify taking him out. Just an assist would be good.

When Aguero comes in I'll be 95% happy with my team I reckon. A few small tinkerings needed but nothing major required.

I bet I won't be saying that when they only get 20 points or something today!!

Id take as many pts as possible from sturridge today. Aguero is still a better option going forward IMO and it will stop people moving from sturridge to aguero which will help rankings in the long run.

Ozil getting a rest (bench role) seems to be a bit of a fear on FFscout and Totalfpl. Did Wenger make any comments? It's been implied he has but haven't seen anything myself.

ha ha your starting to sound like mr prodston.
    Boruc
    dawson vidic johnson
    ozil (c) barkley michu townsend
    suarez sturridge lukaku
Terry on the bench but more than likely will come in for vidic. Have the money for sturridge to aguero next week.

    whats your team this week?

    Mig (wba H)

    Vidic (stoke H)
    Coleman (villa A)
    Shaw (Fulham H)

    Januzaj (Stoke H)
    Ozil (Palace A) Captain
    Ramsey (Palace A)
    Moses (wba H)

    Giroud (Palace A)
    Suarez (wba H)
    Rooney (stoke H)

subs, Barkley, Wilson, chester. lewis (gk)

only concern is if vidic doesn't play, wilson comes in and he may not even start, have 4.7 in the bank so could bring in a defender for chester but i have my eye on bringing in johnson but can't at the moment as i have 3 liverpool players so looking at johnson in next week and moses out with my free transfer.

If Agüero was going to play every game when fit like a Suárez or RVP I think he'd finish top point scorer come the end of the season. Only for CL rotation I'd have him in in a heartbeat.

ah feck off, i was just about to log out of this for the morn and head gym til i seen that comment!
it's a league cup week next midweek isn't it? can't see why he'd need to rest him.

This liverpool bib theory not always accurate reckons moses could be on the bench today. There is talk of gerrard, henderson and lucas being the midfield 3.

ah well in the space of a few mins my happiness with my team is disappearing, with doubts now over moses and a mention of ozil being rested, i'd be very surprised if ozil is rested though, if it was a champions league week next week maybe.
as for moses, i'll just have to take a risk on him, because right now (subject to change) my transfers for next week will be johnson for vidic or chester and brady in for moses. brady is a doubt for this week and away to spurs so i don't want to take the 4 point hit to bring in a player i won't use this week.
i could start barkley ahead of moses but think i'll just take a punt on him starting.
when did you get rid of moses? i see he's not in your team, was it just this week you got rid?

yeah i think he'll start too, going to leave the captaincy on him, with it being the early game we might get some rumours on twitter before 11:30 if he is being rested.

FWIW my own opinion is that Ramsey is more in need of a rest. Wenger won't make wholesale changes to the team, that'll happen in the Carling Cup, so hopefully Ozil plays.

A couple from Michu and a quiet day at the office for Sturridge would do my mood a world of good this weekend.

I'm leaving Ramsey in. The form the lad is in he could score or get a couple of assists in twenty minutes.

I fancy Ramsey for the start although probably not the full 90. Can't see Arteta and Rosicky starting after playing midweek.

I sold him before gw 8 for michu with the aim of getting johnson in this week as had the same 3 pool players problem as you. As I said that bib theory is not always accurate so he could well start. Its a shame for moses that pool switched to a 3 5 2 as that position behind the frontmen doesnt suit him. I brought him in initially as I presumed pool would be playing 4 3 3 or 4 2 3 1 with moses playing in a wide position. Thats where he played against swansea and was very good.

Guess Wilshire is likely to be benched given he has a knock, hopefully he starts at least.

Came across a point made on Twitter.

Anyone fear the early kick off captain choice? I bloody do!

Spent last night in the A+E with the gf Thankfully all is perfectly fine so now onto the small matter of FPL.

I think I'm going to get a cup of tea and plan a bit of surgery. 8 point hit looking likely as I have about 6 players who are either injury doubts or rotation doubts.

Hate giving the armband to someone in the 12.45 kick off, think I only did it once last year when RVP had a handy home fixture.

Also hate putting a team from early kick off in my mugs accum for the weekend (although have done so today)

Cant remember having an early captain ever paying off for me.

Seems to be a bit of curse :)

    Hoping that changes today though

Mugs accum always dies on an early kick off, learned that lesson before myself.

Aside from Ozil my other candidates don't stand out, Sturridge v WBA isn't the walkover people expect.

Brady is injured so Benteke will come in for him if he doesnt play. Ramsey as captain and my score will be largely dependent on how well southampton do with fonte and lovren at the back and lallana in midfield.

I'm surprised yet happy that Ramsey isn't rested. Wenger really going for it to keep the momentum up.
