I want a chicken like we used to get when we were kids.

The smell of it cooking still comes back to me even now.

Chooks are not the same anymore. So can anyone point me to a shop that would sell a real free range, no antibiotics, etc. birdie. Fullllllll of flavour.

Do these Chooks really exist anymore?

Go to a good craft butchers. There's one in Terenure opposite where Falks lighting used to be. My butcher can get them but only frozen. The farmer who lives behind me who I get free range eggs from does them too, his chickens have a lovely life ranging! But again, frozen because it's cheaper for him to get them processed and frozen to sell in batches.
