I actually hate being called ginger. I would prefer to be called a red head.

You a natural red head? Pale skinned? Long flowing red hair blowing in the wind? A mischievous look in your eyes?

I always thought Nicole Kidman looked much better as a natural redhead

It is said that Gingers have a higher sex drive, are better in bed, are generally more mischievous.

From knowing a few, I can confirm that this is true :D

Me too. I think Ginger is more of a British term, or maybe American. I have red hair NOT ginger.

Am I the only lad who doesn't care that much about hair colour on the wimminz?

I dont care either once she is willing. Red hair is just a bonus.

What do redheads and McDonald's have in common?

You've never had it so good and so fast.

I like ginger-haired women. I have been told though that I have terrible standards and would be attracted to anything that moves, so read into that what you will...

It could mean you're ugly & can't get a decent looking woman.

I was in China one time with a red head English girl. We'd be eating at outdoor restaurants and groups of locals would stop en masse and stare at her. Some even took pictures.

The hardest part was growing up as a kid with it, hasn't been an issue since I was 15....though my hair would be the lighter red head...the nearer to Blonde colour.
I guess there are varying degrees of red/ginger.
When I hear ginger I think of that Dark Orange colour

Still...I got my slaggings as a kid in the 90's....even my younger brother used to join in with my friends

    "Ding-a-ling-a-ling Seáns head's on fire.....ding-a-ling-a-ling, ding-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling"

Then I'd run into my mam...tell her they (including my 2year old younger brother were slagging me.....she'd reply with .... "It's not red.....it's Strawberry Blonde !"

    I could hardly use "it's strawberry blonde !!!" as a comeback :P

So many memories.... *goes and cries in corner*

In Asia now anyways, they call it yellow or gold, never heard ginger being mentioned :P (though I hadn't for the last 10 years either)

For those in love with red headed women, go to reddit.com/r/ginger . I'm not posting the full URL as some of it is NSFW (with it being reddit obviously)

Wow - I got sad when I saw the thread title because I was half expecting this to be another ginger-bashing thread - great to see so many positive comments on red hair.

I also was slagged as a kid for having red hair - not constantly bullied or anything, but if someone was looking for something to slag me for they'd always go for the red hair

The malahide sounding girl on the show was an absolute cracker, fantastic features and personality.

Even my wife commented on her

I'm rather a fan of redheads. Some naughty and busty red-haired minx with sparkly eyes and a look of pure naughtiness on her face is something I always like to see on a night out. Tend to be rather enthusiastic when it comes to engaging in the carnal arts as well.

At this point my partner points out redheads she reckons I'd like. She's rarely wrong.

I have red hair which can go pretty dull brown so I dye it to keep it more red. The amount of times I've been told that only guys are Ginger and girls are red heads, as if their gender makes a difference. I would always assume the orange toned is Ginger and the deeper red is a red head.
Or the other one im always told is that Ginger girls are either really ugly or stunning, no in between, I always get paranoid I'm an ugly one regardless of what they tell me! Bit I think that's more a case of the perception that Ginger equates to ugly so when someone half decent has red hair it almost makes it seem unusual

That presenter was gorgeous, i'd never seen her before, I hope she gets many more shows!
But - the last girl she spoke too, the one who said she turned all her exes into red head fanatics - she was absolutely stunningly beautiful, one of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen.
    Red heads rock!

I think the presenter is from kerry... high five! Only saw the first 5 minutes of the programme but there's some stunning looking red heads out there. 99.9% of them have no need or desire for fake tan, fake eyelashes, caked in make up etc etc and all that crap. natural is the way to go and gingers rule in this regard!!!
