    Nothing special
But with some tax ,new tires, exhaust, long nct low miles , one owner and the fact it has extras makes it a cheap way to get from a to b

Some do but not all cars are up. There is no national mileage database (a compulsory one that is). The mileage that is up, would be mileage that was submitted by the owner, or previous owner.

what ever about the car, i love the sellers description - including gems such as:
i am using this car as we speak so its not that bad.

    and...
requires front brake discs as they are warped and vibrate when brake but thats neither here or there

You posted in the wrong thread :)

Not bangernomics. Needs work. There's a fixer upper thread for that!

Even if it didn't need any work, the very short NCT would hardly make it worth a punt with that sorta mileage...

    My ads on adverts.ie:

Victron stuff for sale, Multiplus-II, Quattro, other inverters and batteries and usually some watches!

Silly wording in the ad no doubt. Still the seller is trying to be as honest and open about the car as possible which would endear me.

You would see far more silly comments in ads than that...donedeal is awash with them. eg. no nct but will fly through, cleanest 2002 Ford.... in Ireland, will run on the sniff of diesel, etc, etc, yawn, yawn etc.

No doubt its in the wrong thread with minimal nct left and needing work but all the same not bad at all for the money. Get it through the nct and another years driving out of it and your laughing. If it doesn't pass or gives up in the meantime what about it. Can't be a light car, surely worth thick end of €200 as scrap metal.

Oh yeah totally. I'd prefer an honest slightly imperfect car than a dishonest "perfect" car.

    Not Your Ornery Onager

All the seller's ads say "Money Back Guarantee"...

As regards the Ka in general - I recommended one to my niece when she was looking for her first car and she said "it looks like a tent on wheels". :) She bought a Focus in the end.

    Not your ornery onager

BMW 523i with tax until the end of Jan 2014 and NCT until June 2014 for €1000. Seems an absolute bargain to me tbh.

    The ad says "new NCT"

It's only valid until 02/14 though...

Big bonus: car is taxed until 02/14 too!!!

Only 1 previous owner too. Might very well be worth a punt, and at only €1k asking price, it's a very nice find indeed :)

Looks like an after market bumper maybe badly fitted. Very low mileage for an 11 year old diesel

    Aye could be a runner!

A couple of things to note. its not an MSport as the as suggests. It is a very early model e46 coupe and has the old style steering wheel. There's a bit of a dent on the drovers side front quarter panel.

Seems like a great price if it checks out! Maybe I'll buy it and keep it as a donor car!

Well, it is the first time I saw "Chrome interior door handles".. WOW!:pac:
    Other than that, looks ok.
See when the belt is due. See if there is a knoking or vibration from the cluch.
The DMf is a big job.
