Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a photo of the filming of the MGM lion who roars in their logo at the start of films.
Interestingly the very first lion to star as an MGM lion was called Slats and was born in Dublin zoo. This is him in the below pic. He has to be one of our biggest movie stars then I'd say.

Not really. Slats was the first but he was only used for black and white films from 1917 - 1928. For 7 of them years they were called Goldwyn pictures and then changed to MGM in 1924.
He was originally named cairbre.
LEO is the most famous who was filmed for logo in 1957 an is still used to this day.0 -
