    Do you ???

Ay. Maths. Can't figure out why you're posting so aggressively, given your training.

And your qualifications to determine the use of the word "Against" in my sentence actually means that I advocate aggressive action against banks are what ??? Have you a qualification in psychology to be able to make such a wild assumption from simply one word ?
While I may have no formal qualifications in psychology I have been on boards long enough and discussed enough topics to be able to interpret posts beyond their overt meaning. On top of this I have spent many hours trawling through Wikipedia articles on psychology and formal and informal debate. There is no denying what I lack in a formal degree I more than make up for in honorary Internet degrees in many disciplines.

It's with this vast experience I am able to cut through the nonsense you spew like a world renowned neurosurgeon cuts through the cerebellum. That metaphor is highly relevant as each time I read one of your posts I can't help but feel I've been temporarily lobotomised.

The rest of your post is a series of rambling back pedalling which I shall not address. Instead I will recommend you use your reverse cycling abilities to compete in the Tour De France as you will no doubt astound the French spectators with this skill as much as you have astounded us with your posts.

I bid you a good night and wish you success in your (metaphorically) armed, and intellectually impotent, struggle against the soul crushing enemy.

May God have mercy on your soul.

Oh dear! What is it about this Freeman nonsense that results in previously normal posters turning crazy?

Because if they do not recognise boards.ie mods as Captain of the ship then they cannot be touched. Also mods are never on their oath when modding on a phone.

Baahahaha, I'd love to see you say that at an interview, "No sir, I don't have any degrees in psychology but I have spend years on Board.ie reading posts and trawling through Wikipedia articles on psychology and possess invisible internet degrees in many disciplines"
I've no doubt the men in the white coats would be called promptly and would administer copious amount of chemicals some of my fellow chemists would have come up with to keep loons quiet

They could be worse though, I could be the type of person with invisible internet degrees who after many years of reading boards threads has some how come to the conclusion that if I spout loads of verbal diarrhea in my posts along with trying to convince my fellow boardsies that I'm some sort of an intellectual that I can talk utter ****e about issues and make wild unsubstantiated assumptions about people and no one will think I'm a fool

I will also fiddle with my willy while I think of what you look like dressed in stockings and suspenders, its the closest I'll ever get to them you know.

Up to this thread, I'd never even heard of the "Freemen", I just saw the FB page entitled "The Official Offer", no where on the page did it say it was anything to do with these "Freemen" people, but I will look them up more and see what they're about.

    This might help.

I particularly love this bit: "This offer has been seen by senior counsel and they have been quoted as saying, "This offer is rock solid in contract law". "

By senior counsel do they mean Paddy in the local tavern?

"Rock solid" is official important legal terminology used in our courts and throughout the judicial system on a daily basis by important legal people

ha - they're not totally crazy. I had a bad experience with Chorus at one stage. They said I owed them money and I said I didn't. I had cancelled my contract and they kept billing me anyway. Then a debt collector contacted me and I pretty much told them something similar to the third letter in http://www.freemenofwaterford.com/index.php/templates/general/debt-collector-letters

ok - I didn't use terms like privity of contract but I did tell them in no uncertain terms that my contact was with Chorus and I would not deal with the debt collectors. The next time they contacted me I told them that if they did again I would be suing them and their client for breach of privacy and themselves for harassment. That was about 10 years ago - haven't heard from the leeches since. This bit is actually true: "I have been legally advised that as YOU and the company YOU represent (being of debt recovery solicitors) have no legal standing pertaining to my affairs."

    "Dear Bank,

Please find enclosed a black and white photograph of my testicles. I am sure this will cover any and all associated costs and I expect not to hear from you again,

    Yours sincerely,

Have you tried Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, against the banks?

You need the message to be 'clear and graphic,' then the banks will have no problem acceding to your demands.

Put a sign up on your letter box saying that you are a freeman and dont want letters from the bank being stuck into your box. Simple really! :D

Or, bank wants amount €x. You only have amount €y(<x). They ask for €x you offer €y(<x). They shout a lot. You calmly offer €y(<x) again and shrug resignedly. Bank grudgingly accepts amount €y(<x) and regards you as a bit of a bollix. You decide you can live with their opinion. Everyone lives happily ever after. This appears to be the way all the rich people I know handle it. *

*may not work if you are not; a. Rich and b. a bit of a bollix..

Sure at least half the population has a bit of bollix in them.
    Literally. ;)

In the old days people got out a loan/mortgage and if they didn't pay it back they lost out, tough titty. These days everyone's got their hands out for some freebies. I could have bought at the peak but guess what I didn't because the prices where batsh1t mad and I have a brain.

I would have no time for people trying to dodge out of repaying the banks if the banks hadn't stolen several times the wealth of our nation in order to pay back their own debts instead of "losing out, tough titty".
I can't abide any form of hypocrisy, if it's one set of rules for them then it's the same set of rules for everyone. Why should some bad debts get a bailout and not others? A society of equals...?

I havent taken you serious since this statement below:

If the above statement wasnt so unsettling, it'd be funny

An often fatal mistake on the battlefield and the Internet alike.

Whats are you on about ? "battlefields" and "Military" etc etc.
You obviously fancy yourself as a bit of a "Tactical Genius", a person with whom your average Boardsie wouldnt have a chance against in a real debate due to you huge intellect, sorry but your caliber of intellect was shown by that great comment above reagarding your invisible internet degrees in may disciplines.
Either that or you like men in uniform ???

I will never need to learn anything from you my friend, but the contrary applies
but fear not I am an excellent teacher and will learn you well.

Keep taking the little Lithium tablets your nice doctor prescribes you every month and hopefully some day in the not too distant future you'll log on, read some of the posts you've written recently and finally realise that you my friend are a LOON

A decision you will live to regret for you are no match for me.

Your arrogance will be your downfall, and your ego your executioner.

Humility is a learned trait, it's not too late for you if you are willing to realise your failings. Your war against the banks will accumulate to nothing but embarrassment for you and your loved ones, they are too strong an opponent for your freeman ideology. Thye have law and intellect on their side, two fundamental platforms you lack in this attack.
Either that or you like men in uniform ???
I have come to appreciate the discipline and fearlessness military uniforms represent, this is why I could never have respect for your type!

That site is fcuking hilarious, or kind of worrying if they're really serious.

Side note, I got out of my debt by posting a letter and an enclosed pack of magic beans with monetary value that far exceeded the debt I'd accumulated.

Ireland is the foetus of the earth, don't you know? And if some bankster thinks I'm going to pay a completely legitimate debt, he can go fcuk himself.
