I'm in my early 20's and from what I hear from the men and women in my class it seems to me that sex is 2 people meeting up from the internet and shagging?

Maybe it's just in my circle of friends? some of the **** I'v heard recently suprised me and most of it came from thr women

If they meet up from the internet and shag, or they meet in a pub and shag or do anything and then shag it is meaningful. The meaning only has to be acknowledged. From your post it sounds like you are using the word 'meaningful' as 'is there loads of romantic stereotypes involved' in which case I'd say there are less, but all the better for it.

Sex is certainly cheaper today than it ever was in Ireland. Ireland has probably gone too far already for a healthy nation.

I suggest that the divorce and separation figures could be a good indicator. Couples not wanting to get married and living in sin used to be the indicator until we found out how dirty the Church's blotting book really was.

Cheap sex has social consequences, repression has had social consequences, neither is healthy.
