Buying VAT free from Amazon.co.uk

    Hi all,

I'm a long time personal customer of Amazon.co.uk.

I now want to purchase something from them but for my business using my business credit card. My business is VAT registered so I would like to be able to purchase the item ex VAT.

Is there a way for me to do this via my existing personal account with Amazon.co.uk (make the delivery address my business etc) or will I need to set up a separate business account with them which allows them to ship ex VAT to my business?

    Cheers,

    Ben

Amazon.co.uk charge Irish VAT when shipping goods to ROI, so your company would still have to pay the VAT when buying from them

You would then be able to claim it back in your next VAT return
