I'd have no faith in him as a long term points scorer.

    spot on

Sturridge looks completely off the pace to be honest.

ah here, its 45 mins of one match. Bit soon to be writing the guy off to be fair. Also he put a sublime ball through to Suarez which he won the penalty from

Get a grip lad. He's just had a quiet 45 minutes. Look at his goalscoring record since he joined liverpool. The only time he disappointed was when chelsea threw him out on the wing/on the bench. Wouldn't be the first time a young player's career stalled at chelsea. He was top notch at bolton too.

    When he joined;)

    He's the English Adebayor.

As I said,I've no faith in him keeping up his form over a season.

Maybe I'm grumpy due to making a hames of my Captaincy today.

I think he's just sluggish after the international break, as is the case with a lot of players. The early kick-off doesn't help either. He'll score plenty of points over the course of the season IMO.

Classing Liverpool as title contenders would be ludicrous

Going to need a few goals from my midfield and all clean sheets in defence to make up for this Liverpool game as it stands :(
