Up North in my area all the farmers mainly have high yielding Holstein cows and foot dipping seems to be at least a weekly routine with the foot problems those ladies are prone to.
Just wondering with the Friesien/jersy cross or indeed the straight forward Friesiens that are predominant in the South - do you have much feet bother at all and do you foot dip during the year?? My herd is lower yielding Friesien and i hardly ever foot dip and have few feet problems?? Not that i am looking for any either!!!

I send the cows through a copper sulphate bath about every 2/3 weeks, the amount of lameness depends on what the weather is like I find, and the distance the cows are walking. Alot of the lameness is with repeat offenders however, ladies who need to be culled, but not a luxury I have at the minute.
