That had multiple shooting in at the weekend.
Put the price of drink up 5c more than the Budget 10c are they for real?
Can see the place closed within a month.

10 cent is the excise duty, there is in addition 23% VAT and then the publicans take but 15 cent sounds excessive.

We know from previous threads that you have an issue with one pub, why misrepresent the situation, the pub itself had no shootings, and all pubs will be increasing their prices after the budget, in many cases by more than 15 cent.

In one thread in that last few days you referred to it in a range of posts as a Kip, a pub in decline, a place you were surprised there hadn't been shootings in before now (there still hasn't been a shooting IN it btw) and a pub with horrendous toilets.
No, of course you don't have an issue with the pub, and this thread isn't a single issue agenda:rolleyes:

Have you been in the so called pub?
My issue is would you raise the price of a pint above the budget increase after multiply shootings 3 days later?
Do you have an association with the said Pub?

Almost all pubs will add on their extra little bit after the government increases the price of a pint.
From what I have seen down through the years, such as last years budget, when the price of a pint was increased by 10c, all the pubs in my town increased the pints by 20c, some by 30c

Regardless of any shootings, all pubs do have their problems with drunk and violent customers that put other customers off....they are still a business, and are running it as a business..

I have a pub with late bar, and let me till you that the profit on a pint is nothing to write home about. So even though the price has increased, it still wont make the publicans up.

Yes I have been in it as you know from answering my posts in the said other thread.
There have been zero shootings in said pub, despite your attempts to somehow link the pub specifically to the shootings.
I have no association with the pub and have no vendetta against it either.
I am not the one taking every opportunity, however spurious, to take a sideswipe at the premises.

This thread has about the same survival chances as the Labour party in the next general election.

Why not, I have been it a few times, the lounge seems nice, the staff are friendly and I have never witnessed any hassle there.
When one poster decides to go on a personal vendetta perhaps someone should speak up.

Well as you know their is a price difference between a beer and a lager,
Averaging all those out, and im going by apporx 85 pints per keg, you would have circa €130 + vat per keg profit.

It takes a long time to sell 85 pints too...

You are on about this one pub raising the price about the budget increase, when every pub in the country does it.

Your clearly on about the publican raising the price of a pint above what the budget raised it by, and other non related stuff...

Im on about the publican is running a business, its his/hers business to do what they need to do to keep the business profitable.

Who gives a hoot if the business shuts down for what decisions they make....that's clearly their problem.

Plus the pub in question is in Dublin so it will be closed with a curt message to take it to the Non Culchie Pub Murder forum.
