Death benefit gone, maternity benefit reduced, illness benefit hit.

So don't get sick or pregnant or die and you'll be grand.

I assume you get money for kids so you can afford to feed them and give them clothes and stuff.
Yeah you cant guarantee that with some of the low life "parents" in this country though, massively reduce it and actually make education free, no books costs, uniforms, donations, nothing! then introduce free meals in the schools, so many of the those malnourished and going hungry arent at the mercy of many of their low lives parents!

FFS more tax on drink, might as well shut all the pubs down now great way to help jobs increase the costs of an already ailing industry.

"Minister Noonan is bringing forward the start date of the new Film Relief scheme to 2015 from 2016.
It will be extended to include non-EU talent in order to help attract additional major film productions to these shores."

That's good, look at what Game of Thrones did for the North (no not that North) in terms of jobs, this country has some phenomenal scenery that'd be perfect for fantasy set films or period pieces, time to start using it more.

Yes, he said 10% increase in excise but corrected himself that the increase was 10 cents.

Do you really think 10c extra on a pint will stop people going to the pub? That's an extra €2 for 20 pints(what I'd assume a lot of people drink per weekend).

What are you going to spend your SSIA on? I think I'll buy a nice boat, treat myself.

Box of fags up to €20
    Pint up to €10

These are not necessary to ANYONE and therefore should be taxed to the sky.

I can guarantee that would cause a reduction in excise revenues rendering it completely pointless.

50c on wine...so up €1.50 in two years. No doubts the shops will double that increase. Before last year's budget I could always find bottles on offer in Tesco and Super Valu for €6. Now it's rare to find a bottle under €8!

They will double the 10c, they alway do, so it will be 20c really.

Bit of a joke but they don't want people saving. Very unlikely someone will save @ 33% nevermind 41%

Still hear these words of last year: No one will see a change on their pay slip come january.

****er still owes me an explanation how it happened i again lost +/- €100 a month.

Didnt know it was possible but i get a really unhealthy amount of pure hatred for politicians.
Being Dutch and still have an interest in my country means i have to deal with 2 sets of those *****.

Surely, the Dutch politician-types are all great? No?
