Haagen Dasz 500ml Large Tubs - Half Price at Tesco

    I picked up Pralines and Cream for €2.99 but they had others such as Vanilla and Strawberry Cheesecake also half price.

    funny thing, that normal price is 5.49,
    but when it goes on HALF PRICE - regular price becomes 5.99...

    with Haagen Daas, Ben & Jerrys, etc. half price = normal price
    don't fall for their marketing gimmicks.

    All these 500ml tubs are on continuous half price/50% off offers, Tesco are getting as bad as Argos!

    I maybe asking a stupid question, but who in their right mind would pay €5,49 for a 500ml of mass produced ice cream? The real price is €2,25 as I never see anyone buying "premium ice-cream" at full price.The best ice-cream is the 2,5 liter red tube in Lidl for €3,99. Its made from cream and not reformed powder or some BS like Carte Dor. I served the lidl ice-cream at a house party and everyone though it was amazing because its made from cream

    As much as I hate the sh1t in Lidl. I do like the ice cream and the mini Magnum bar knock offs. Real bargain as well.

    Yeah, never pay full price for ben and jerrys or haggen das. They're half price more often than not.

    It's a nice treat at "half price" but i wouldn't dream of paying €5 or €6 for it.
