Baby on Board signs in cars

Anyone change their driving when they see this sign on the back window of a car?
Do the drivers of the same cars drive differently if they have a baby in the car?This is the purpose of the sign ?

Ach, saying they're just to show off they have a kid can be as bad as smug parents.

Their purpose is to ask the driver behind not to tailgate. And don't they have a purpose for emergency services also, in case of an accident?

personally I wouldn't hang the sign. I always find that after a few beers, its very harder to drive while reading an important sign... like come on, common sense people!

Thought them stickers were made to let emergency services who would be investigating or at a car that went off road that there is potentially a baby in the car.

Nope and why? But I do find that some drivers that have them displayed, could do with a few driving lessons.

Ah now, if people followed that to the letter they wouldn't take their kids outside for fear of upsetting people.

I know people find the signs ridiculous but there is a purpose to them other than "I have a child".

And that’s what the people that make the signs tell you :P do allot of people still wear them coloured bands on there wrist ? so why do they make dog on board ones and so on too
