Coolio met the students after a concert in Preston and he came back to there place. He decided he wanted to cook them food(apparently the man who had one of the biggest hip hop songs ever is now a celeb chef) and also did a impromptu acoustic rendition of Gangsta's Paradise. Guitarists different colour socks is brilliant:pac: No autotune in sight. His rapping from 4 mins on is actually very good. This was blowing up on reddit earlier, meant to post it then. One of the greatest hip hop songs ever released. Coolio is a legend in the U.S still because of that song, not so much in these parts. Himself and Pac were close I think.

Song was released in 96, you have to remember they would have been 5 or 6 at the time. The kids are doing well to know the chorus I'd say. Still love that song.

Coolio grew up in Compton CA, 'A Gansgters Paradise' and he made something of himself, I find his story inspiring. Apparently he's making good money these days through his culinary career and of course his royalthy cheques will tide him over for the rest of his life.

Fair play to him, like he mentions in his famous song he might not have made 24 if he fell into the streets.
