    Hi guys,

I was wondering has anyone experience with getting discount out of UPC?

I've been their costumer for some 7 - 8 years now and I just moved out of Dublin. At my new address they can't provide 50 Mbps broadband (only 30 Mbps) and the TV package I had has fewer channels.

They weren't very open to discount so far, so before I put my boxing gloves on I was wondering if anyone had similar experience?

    Thanks,
    Dan

when you say you have fewer tv channels is that because you have changed packages?

First of all there is usually a €1 difference between whether you are on mmds or cable. The normal tv discount is €5 off a month for 12 months. however they don't advertise it but if you are an existing customer digital value is available for €17 a month a considerable reduction from the advertised €28.50 a month!

The best approach is to ring and say you are cancelling. you should then be transferred to customer loyalty.

No, I was told that some channels are not available at my new address (ie. Food Channel UK :( ). Not sure why really...

I will probably end up doing just that (although I'm in contract until Feb :/ ) but I wanted to see if anyone in similar situation had any luck.

    Thanks,
