hi, in middle of a new build and were looking into kitchen designs now. We'd planned all along of having higher than the norm counter tops if possible as myself and husband over 6ft. but one think we didnt not consider for this was the window height in the kitchen. Anyone know where I can get information on this?

I've had a couple of clients make similar requests and generally they've gone for a finished height of 950mm rather than the standard 915mm.

I very much doubt there'll be an issue with the window height but the builder should be able to tell you exactly what room you'll have when the floors are in.

what information do you want? if your windows aren't ordered then set the window cill to suit your preferred counter height or above dependent the kitchen layout. is your architect not helping you with these issues ?
