Asides from being hosted on "skynet".ie I have my reservations about using this kind of tool? Does anyone know any more about calculators like this one? http://www.skynet.ie/~martin/pages/iban.html The guy seems genuine, and there is a register article about it. I'd really prefer to use something simple like this than try…

I'd really prefer to use something simple like this than try and remember to call during work hours, wait on phone, etc. Are they safe and accurate?

There is a full IBAN calculator and checker available on the IPSO website here http://www.ipso.ie/section/ipsosepaservices

Have just checked the skynet site and its not accurate, in that it doesn't validate the NSC and account number before generating the IBAN
