Presumably every referendum we've voted on has had both languages represented?

PS. You have to have the wording as 'do you approve of the proposal to amend the article of the constitution' There's no other way of doing it, it was just unfortunate that it was asking people to vote in a positive way on a abolition issue. Possibly they could have the Irish on one side and English on the other side.

It'll make a great show if we get someone on to talk about Love/Hate. We know Joe hates it, he's written about it enough time in his articles, but will he give it air time on the basis he doesn't want to give it more publicity ?

    OMG, not John Carmody

I may have to emigrate if the show goes down that road again.

It made me angry seeing David Norris celebrating on the news Saturday night.. Like everything was alright now that the Seanad had been rescued... He should have resigned when it became clear that he wrote a letter on Seanad headed paper to plead for clemency for a sex abuser, purporting to be representing the view of the Irish people. David Norris is a good guy, but he should have resigned after this serious breach of trust..

+ 1 - he was very smug. Well for him to be voted into an elitist group

The worst thing about the result is that Fianna Fail Honestly think they influenced it, Collins and Martin going around with smug grins all weekend.

Oh great, declare it invalid, run it again, cost another €20m, and keep doing it again and again till you get the answer you want.

    That'll end well.

Oh god, a professional moaner and whinger - here we go. The poor lady at the desk!

This guy is going to be great! - so he didn't get his ballot paper, big deal!

    Oh man.

I was a presiding officer for over ten years.

These people are the reason I don't do it anymore.

    Shouty, ignorant pricks.
