I just switched my order on Amazon to the Killzone Bundle with the extra controller and camera. Pretty happy with that.

Just to follow up on what amazon were saying about people only be guaranteed a console if they ordered before the 8th of August, they have been sending a email around today stating that people who ordered after will receive their console as they get more stock in, and its going by the date you ordered.

After hearing about everyone here getting the bundles I wanted to make sure I was getting one so I just rang smyths in Carrickmines and got the Killzone bundle with the extra controller and camera (€499). When on the phone he told me he was starting to ring people today with the offers.

I contacted Gamestop online store and got the following:

Unfortunately we have not been told of any of the bundles for online at this time yet but do keep an eye out for any update to this.

Hopefully they get some Mega bundles as I'd be all over that.

Yeah, I was just on the phone with Smyths in Childers Road. They have 4 options, the console on it's own for €400, the console and Killzone for €439, the console and Watch Dogs for €439 and the console, Killzone, the extra DS4 and camera for €499. I went for the last one, it's brilliant value for money.

Yup just off the phone to Smyths on the Ennis Road Limerick, gave me the same options but said I needed to go into them before Friday with my current pre order receipt and they said they would exchange it for a new receipt with the chosen bundle on it. Defo getting the €499 bundle outstanding value and actually think the camera will come in handy.

Sorry, I should have said that was the case for me as well. However, I had asked my mother to go in about the bundles (I'm at work) and it was her mobile the manager was using. I had given her the receipt just in case so they changed it then. she just text me to let me know she has the new receipt and that I'm No.5 on the list, so I'm pretty confident I'll be getting it launch day

Yeah the guy told me I would definitely get it day one, man im so so excited now but the wait is gonna be longer for me, have to wait till the big fat man arrives on dec 25th, the wife is getting it for me. Gonna trade in fifa 14 on ps3 and get it for ps4 instead think its €15 to do this in gamestop, picking up watchdogs too, and my ps plus is paid up until april 2015 add drive club and resogun to that list, so I am all sorted.

Was told in Smyths in Waterford that the first 20 pre-orders are guaranteed, they will be getting 110 in total up to Xmas.

I am pre-order no. 17.

So only the first 20 will get launch day ones, not looking good for people who are on second lists with stores getting theirs before Christmas.

heard from smyths in letterkenny this mornin, im goin for the watchdogs bundle and will just buy an extra pad, really not keen on the camera and not sure about killzone as i will be getting ghosts
Im number 4 on their list and he said for sure i will get mine on the 29th
didnt ask about further xmas stocks but i think there will be a big shortage at xmas

I think pre-ordering so early has really paid off, I knew wasnt gonna get to play till Christmas but i really didnt want to worry about not getting the console this year, and now knowing that the €499 bundle will be extremely limited. well worth putting down the €20 depsoit

I Just upgraded to the €499 Killzone bundle in Gamestop.

I was 3rd on their lists but the first consumer as the first 2 guys were staff. Pre-ordered on the 25th of february!

Have mine booked in Smyths, but 72nd on the list, so i'd be surprised if I got it first batch. Hopefully have it for christmas.

Just rang Smyths in Blanchardstown there to enquire about upgrading my preorder to a bundle. The girl said that they won't have info on thr budles until the week the PS4 is released. She also said that they would be getting bundles on a weekly basis and that I would be able to choose which bundle I wanted when I go to pick up my PS4. This appears to conflict against others' experiences so I'm not sure if the girl is correct.

Also, I didn't preorder until Aug 26th so I'd say I'm way down the line anyway.

You're probably down the list all right but I would say try again. My mother told me that the same thing happened to her today, she was told they wouldn't know about bundles until it was released, which was stupid. The same guy had told me this last week. My mother just told them that others had been ordering them so the manager looked it up on the system and they were there, they didn't even know.

Was told the same in Smyths carrickmines on Saturday too, & here today we seen a poster able to upgrade to a bundle over the phone, in the very same store. I think some of the staff are either misinformed, or make it up as they go along

I was told pretty much the same thing in Gamestop Henry Street, might go back in the morning and see if I get a different answer

Well in fairness the man I was onto was only starting to ring around today and rang me back about 1 or 2 to let me know I've to be in store by 1 o'clock Friday latest to swap receipts and all for the bundle. I don't think he was going to take the order over the phone until I told him I should be close to the top as I pre ordered in Feb/March....didn't know exactly where till today but I'm 3rd on it, so I think that might be why he did it for me

He said that they will be ringing down the list to make the offers that way

well they told me I only have until Friday to upgrade my pre order to a bundle in smyths unless this is only relevant to people who are guaranteed the console on day one which I am

Well he have had nearly 10 posters here including myself saying they were able to get in store bundles at Gamestop, so all this confusion is a bit strange.

I second what Jim Bob is saying .I rang gamestop today again to confirm what I had been told yesterday, basically they have no info yet on up and coming bundles.

My point being, one shop assistant says on Saturday that no info will be known until the week before launch, while another assistant today tells you exactly what you need to do. Info is all I asked for, not to actually get the bundle itself

Rang gamestop again today, spoke to a different guy this time who gave me info on the bundles said he could swap my order over on the phone. Need to decide which 1 I want now..

With Gamestop you should just go in and talk to them, if they say the don't know about the bundles, just tell them to check the system and they will find it.

No Fifa bundle which is disappointing, but seeing Gamestop are doing a good deal, if you trade in your current gen Fifa 14 you can get a next gen one for 15 euro so might get the Watchdogs bundle and then get Fifa that way.

So I decided on a watch dogs bundle

Don't have much interest in killzone, didn't play the others and can hold off on extra controller / camera a while.
Happy out now to have that sorted.
