Gravy as a chicken/beef stock sub?

I'm making a sauce for steaks that calls for a mix of chicken and beef stock (real or cubes). All I have is some Oxo veg stock cubes and Bisto gravy. Can I use either of these instead?

Yes, you can use your Oxo veg stock cubes. I'd advise against using the gravy as it will change the texture.
