Any one give me advice on a Harley Davidson sportster 883 early 90s model
what to look out for? A good buy or stay clear?

IMHO the 883 is seriously underpowered & you'll be pissed of with it in no time...

Having said that, if you do a 1250 conversion with Wiseco piston set up & correct porting of the heads, they turn out a lot more powerful & reliable than the bog standard XLH 1200 of the same era.

A good buy for the right price as long as you don't mind spinning spanners yourself, otherwise they can end up costly in the long run if you get the stealership to maintain it.
