Very true. Not to mention stopping the action to give a verbal warning, rather than deduct a point, and restarting them in the wrong position.

Great fight on the last episode. Sloppy stand-up from Roxy for a supposed vet of over a decade. She definitely looked like she got Ricardo Arona'd after that slam and came to almost immediately but not quickly enough to avoid eating a huge punch without protecting herself, and the ref was nowhere to be seen! The following ground and pound was tough to watch, when she couldnt even get back up to her knees and ate an absolute bomb before the ref stepped in. Awful officiating.

It's a shame that the fights, which have been a good standard, are been overshadowed by Rousey and her coachs antics. Duke, one of Rouseys fighters, said it was all instigated by Hallman. We've all said it before, the editors can paint a very different picture of the actual events. However, Rousey is the golden girl of the UFC. Dana even outlandishly called it the Ronda Rousey Show. Why on Earth would the UFC allow the show to be aired if it painted their star in a bad light. I've a grim feeling it's been edited to make her not look as bad as watch she actually is. The slightly candid shot of Dana telling her to behave herself said alot. I absolutely loved the immediate dick-tuck by Edmond when Hallman said "OK".

Rondas mother wrote a blog piece about her experience and responds to some of the criticism directed at Ronda. You can read the entire thing here here. It basically tries to defend Rondas behavior in a typical motherly fashion in a kind of "Don't judge her, you don't know here" way. Ronda acts like a tool but it's ok cause she signed some shirts/hoodies and donated it to charity. Mama Rousey goes on to suggest that if she was in Rondas shoes then she would have knocked people out and generally been an asshole. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

As MrStuffins said, Rousey is a pathetic bully. Her squaring up to Hallman was laughable. I'd love to see Tate smash her but I fear it's another submission win for Rousey.

Now, on to the actual fight. Roxy is probably the nicest person to ever compete in MMA but her stand up is very amateur for a professional fighter of 10 years and 25 fights. The ref made a terrible call, he warned Jessica in the first about grabbing the cage and even said "if you do it again I'll take a point". Then when she does it in the second it was only a warning. Very late stoppage, Roxy was out after the slam and she took too many punches afterwards.

can't recall seeing worse stand up than roxy
it was just awful to watch

Roxy looked like she learned to strike by watch Keith Jardine videos in slow motion

Every time I watch TUF, the more I want Dana to put give Rhonda's coach a fight in the UFC against the biggest puncher or best finisher in the division. He is a disgrace and a bully.

Another very solid fight, glad to see David win.
