    Why do people listen to the radio? Legit question - the same 5 sh*te songs over & over, bookended by inane babble. Can people not make their own decisions re what music to listen to? They need some doofus to tell them what's "hip"? Rihanna, The Script, C'Lo Green, yawn, yawn.

    And re ads on TV - anyone else heard of SKY+? Yeah; you can skip the ads people!

    Why do anything? Many people have the radio on at work and do not have the luxury of putting on headphones.

    Others may not have sky+ or shock horror, are watching something which is not recorded.

    Methinks your post smacks of a lady protesting too much. Or trying to be hipster.

    You don't know what a hipster is.
