Do I Need a Provisional Licence to do Driving Lessons?

    Hi allI have passed my theory test and am going to do driving lessons - do I need my provisional licence before I apply? I am currently filling in the forms to get the provisional but am just wondering could I do a few lessons while I waitThanks

    Afaik you need a provisional before you are allowed out on the road.

    You can drive on closed, private land. This is land on which other people are not permitted access. Car parks, industrial estates, etc are public places in law, and you are not permitted to drive here without a licence.

    Mondello would probably count as private, but I imagine they have their own rules :)
