Fianna Fáil DID have another option.. They could have managed the country properly the previous ten fupn years before the eventual crash...

hah, at last one of the economists gets called.. I wish Vincent had been on with Marian yesterday morning when that smug fu**er Brendan Keenan was on. He seems to have completely forgotten that he estimated the bank losses at 5%..

Why were anyone besides depositors and secured bondholders made whole.
The world would not have stopped spinning.

McWilliams defended his the guarantee in his latest SBP column.

That's the video of Morgan Kelly for anybody who's interested..

I posted the same video on the Marian Finucane thread yesterday when Brendan Keenan was on the show with Marian for the fifth anniversary.. Marian played back every clip that made Brian Cowan and Brian Lenihan look foolish, but she didnt play the above clip, and let Brendan Keenan away with statements like "Brian Lenihan simply didnt know what was going on"... I was only short of driving up to RTE myself..:mad:

She's either too late for Arthur's Day or too early for Patrick's Day.

I think she is pretty, she has lovely eyes and her hair and make-up are always flawless. The outfit she is wearing tonight is way too old for her. It would be better suited to a woman 60 years +.

Vinny in his mischief should invite a panel of Brendan Keenan, Jim Power and Brendan Burgess on the show under the guise of discussing Religion or Travellers and then spring it on them "Ok, lads we're actually discussing the bank guarantee tonight".

I would pay to watch that.

Edit: Marc Coleman too. I knew i was forgetting someone.
