2005 seat cordoba 1.4tdi vs 2005 VW polo 1.4tdi

Hi everybody , its time for a change. I just got rid of my renault megane , and dont know wheather to go for a cordoba or a polo , both 1.4tdi . The boot space in the cordoba is a big plus for me with a young daughter . But the engine is supposedly noisy on long journeys . Any advice?

They both have the same engine in them. The Cordoba is basically a saloon version of the Ibiza which I turn is basically a Polo underneath anyway.
