Hah that's laughable. I was all set to lump it at 9/10 in the morning, when a mate distracted me with a double whiskey at 10 o clock. About 25 pints and an NFL match later and geoffrey was completely forgotten about.

He's a good'un though. Get on early for the RP trophy

Backed Newcastle -1 on the Asians. Went out for a walk at half time & didn't bother to watch the 2nd half. Just saw it finished 3-2. They (i.e. me & one of the lads) don't call Asian handicaps the crack cocaine of football gambling for nothing!

A push after being 3-0 down is almost as good as a win

How can the Racing Post not even make reference to the drug seizure once? Unless I missed it and can't see it on their site??

Irish times have a two page article on it even though they do say its understood not to do with horse racing, but how can the racing post not even acknowledge it

Very simple..they don't want to draw negative attention to the sport .. They are not a medium for that.. Enough sh*t came out over the summer if say it was a political decision unless its plastered all over it tomrorroq

Johner, priority tickets for the 2014 Premier League Darts go on sale this Thursday at 9am

Firstly who owns the Racing Post.As I posted this recently I can only say certain things about this but journalists had to get top clearance from their legal teams to print a very diluted news piece, why. If this was not for the horse racing world why was there a JFKesk hush hush and speed in cleaning the area.Im told Michael Murphy has gone out of his way to get Ryan Moore to ride Muhdiq 3pm Nott.

If you or a mate are O2 you'd have got a text about priority tickets

Pre sale starts Thursday, no idea when they go on general sale

Under The Moon at Nottingham here is 16/1 into 7/2. Seb Sanders on board so it probably wont win.

    Haha was the first beat.

Not having a pop at you Johner, im talking in general terms, I always find it strange when people are surprised when a gamble is beat or comes nowhere.

A 16/1 shot into 7/2 is still a 7/2 shot, as in 2/7 (78% likely) to be beaten. And its likely that price is too short as people have latched onto the gamble after the value has been snapped up. It's more profound when people see a horse gambled big time into say 10/11 and are completely pissed off and shocked when their punt at 10/11 fails. The prices are still saying it's 50/50 (w/o margin) to win at that stage.

Granted you don't expect a gambled horse to be the first beaten alright, as you'd expect it's wellbeing to be good

Exactly what I was thinking Hulk, it's still a 7/2 shot and should actually be higher since some people are surely latching on because it had been backed.

Another gamble on Tarquin here. Full brother to Tarquinius
